The Resident Services Department partners with various community agencies and nonprofit organizations that strive to improve the quality of life for public housing residents. Programs and services are developed and offered to help residents develop skills that will prepare them for self-sufficiency. Services and programs are available through referral and onsite at each public housing development. Those services range from job training, health and financial literacy, youth and adult education to home ownership. Case Managers are available to assist residents with a wide variety of personal and community needs which allow residents to maintain self-sufficiency in their homes. The Service Coordinators work closely with Property Managers to:
Identify Resident Goals
Develop strategies to link residents with services and overcome barriers that impede access to those services
Bring services on-site for high-priority resident goals
Monitor the outcome of services
